BREAKING: Gunmen Attack Niger Mosque, Kill 17, Abduct 20

Information reaching DESERT HERALD from credible sources and eyes witnesses revealed that armed gunmen believed to be Fulani bandits have storm a popular mosque in Maza Kuka village, Mashegu LGA of Niger State.

The armed gunmen according to our sources have cause panicked due to sporadic gun shots. They reported kill 17 worshippers, injured many and abduct about 20 persons.
Some sources said the number of casualties has since increased while the figure of those abducted could be well above 20 persons.
As usual, DESERT HERALD can also confirm that throughout the period of the free operations there is NO security intervention at all.
