 FG Begins payment of 30,000 Grant. See how to benefit

The Federal government has started payment of the thirty thousand naira (30000) grant for the second category which includes taxi drivers, cart and tricycle riders.

This was made know via a tweet by President Muhammad’s Buhari’s aide Bashir Ahmed on Sunday. The program is for three months and as at last month, some beneficiaries of from the first category have gotten their first pay.

To benefit from this scheme and be part of the payroll, here is what is needed.

Make sure you are a taxi driver, a tricycle (keke na pep) rider or you work just for a transport company and was affected by the COVID19 lockdown.

Secondly, locate an MSME agent near you. Beware of scammers verify the authenticity of the claimed agent before you proceed with the data capture.

You will need to provide your account number, full name as used for banking, your mobile number, your date of birth and your photo will be taken.

NOTE: Your BVN is not required for this scheme. Just ur account number is enough to get you credited.

Also, the registration is completely free. However, some agents may demand a little token but that is on mutual agreement no one should force you to pay a dime.
