Four Girls Die While Crossing Stream In Jigawa

THE Jigawa State police command in Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State has confirmed the death of four children in Sara town of the local government area of state.

Those who died include Bilkisu Aruna 17 years, Shamsiya Nuhu 13 years, Maryam Danlami 12 years, and Marakisiyya Musa 13 years all in Kafin Doki quaters in Sara town of Gwaram local government.

The girls were reportedly dead while crossing the stream on their way to farm in which three bodies were recovered leaving the body of Shamsiyya Musa to recovered that is still under search in the stream.

The police public relations officer S P Audu Jinjiri has cofirmed the story, adding that the police have visited the stream and took the bodies of three girls recovered to the hospital where the doctor confirmed them dead.

The corpses were snapped by police photographer and released to their parents for burial and were since been buried according to Islamic injunctions.
