 Gov Bala Launches 2021 Emblem Appeal Week And Armed Forces Remembrance Day

Strengthening and encouraging the heroes of the past, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has launched the 2021 Emblem Appeal Week and Armed Forces Remembrance Day in the state being the Gov of the state a lover of peace.

The governor announced the donation of his government officials of about ten million Naira.

He welcomed the invited guests for the formal launching of the Appeal Week, saying that the event is in recognition of Nigerian’s legionnaires who truthfully served the nation in order to protect and preserve it’s territorial integrity.

Governor Bala said the Emblem Appeal Week and laying of the wreath is being observed in the Commonwealth Countries on 11th of November annually, however the date was changed to reflect the development of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Governor Bala then called on members of the general public and corporate organisations to put the legionnaires in their hearts and come to their aid.

He congratulated members of the Nigerian Legionnaires Bauchi State Chapter under the leadership of Retired Warrant Officer Idris Danjuma Ningi.

Chairman of the legionnaires, Retired Warrant Officer Idrsi Danjuma Ningi thanked Governor Bala for his support to the branch and appealed to him to engage them to contribute positively to the peace and security of the state.

Gov Bala Mohamed is cautiously moving Bauchi state with passion to the destiny land.
