Insecurity: Hon Gumi Urges President Buhari to Review Military Operations in Zamfara

A member Representing Gumi and Bukuyum federal Constituency at the House of Representatives has urged the federal Government to revisit the security architecture for sustainable peace and security of lives and properties in the country.

Hon Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi made the appeal while reacting on the recent killings and abduction of some People in Zamfara state and other part of the country.Hon Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi believed that the Security sysrem in the country need a different approach because we can not continue to do one thing in all the time without having a desired results.He argued that Zamfaea state Governments is doing it’s best but need a good collaburation to maintain the peace accord been signed and failure to that will be suecide,Hon Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi also believed that there is need to inject new blood with a fresh idears on how to tackle this problems to be able to achieve the desired objective of peaceful soceity He further said most of the bandits they are between the ages of twenty to thirty five meaning they are energetic enough to implore new tactics and use mordern weapons unlike our security personnels.
Hon Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi suggested the use of community policing despite some critics who expressed fear that some states Governors may use them in a negative forms
On the issue of increase in the fuel pump price he urged the Government to consider the socio economic difficulties many Nigerians are facing to look at other means rather than increasing the pump price at this point in time when many are struggling to feed themselves.
