 Jigawa To Declear Five LG Free Open Defection Soon

Jigawa state government has declear six local government council as free open deprecation out of the 27 local government areas in the state

This was disclosed by the managing director jigawa state rural water and and senation Agency, Engr Labaran Adamu MNSE today in an exclusive interview with news men in his office

Alhaji Labaran further explained five local government were also selected to be declear soon for free open DEFECATION in the state with a view to enforce hygine to people living around the rural communities

These five selected local go ernment include Dutse local government ,sule tankarkar,kafin hausa, Auto, and Birniwa local government respectively

Explained further that in the area of hygine the federal government and DFID has clearly explained that jigawa state is among the best in the country in fighting the issue of open DEFECATION

He commanded the effort if the STGS committee who testified that six local government are free for open DEFECATION in the state in which Buji local Government and Yankwashi ,Roni were among the six council

Others include birnin kudu kaugama and Taura local government area in the state

Assuring that these five selected local government will be declear as free open DEFECATION by next month

Labaran commed the effort of traditional rulers without their support and cooperation they cannot achieved their motive he said

Adding that with the effort of educating people to drill toilet in their house the issue of spareding disease has drastically reduce because majority of the illines we’re spering as a result of open DEFECATION especially in the rural communities were people lack education and enlightment

Explained further that ‘our mission is to eradicate the menace of open DEFECATION completely in the state and we want to be the best among the best in the federation” he explained.

He urged the general public in the state to support the state government to achieved the target objectives
