STRIKE: Borno State NLC, TUC NECSOB SUG NANS Met to Ensure Complaince

In line with the resolution of it’s CWC meeting held on 22 Sempteber 2020 on the recent hike in petroleum and Electricity price by the federal government to embark on Nation wide strike this Monday 28 September 2020 and to mobilise critical stakeholders for total Complaince,the Borno state Council of Nigeria Labour Congress under the leadership of Comrade Bulàma Abiso today conveyed a Consultative Meeting at it’s state Secretariat New GRA Maiduguri.

The meeting which was aimed at mobilising momentum towards complaince to the Indifinite strike have in attendance the organised labour, Civil Society organizations Youths and Students leaders.

All groups attended declared there solidarity to the struggle and assured their support for total complaince.

In his remarks the Executive Director Network for Civil Society organizations Borno state Amb Ahmed Shehu on behalf of the CSOs assured their total Support to join the struggle saying this is the right time to join forces for the betterment of the citizens.

The students body also express there solidarity saying the hardship is too many on the common man hence the need to salvage it.

Already the the NLC have set up a mobilisation and monitoring Committee to ensure complaince of the Indifinite strike.
