Arewa PDP Support Groups Join PDP Reps Minority Caucus, Disown Ugochinyere-Led Coalition

The coalition of Arewa PDP support groups, under the leadership of Mu’azu Muhammad, has formally aligned with the PDP Reps Minority Caucus. 

This strategic move signifies a unified stance within the party and underscores the commitment of Arewa PDP members to the collective goals and values of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

In a resolute statement issued by the caucus and made available to newsmen said. they unequivocally disavowed the actions of Mr. Ugochinyere and his coalition, asserting that their demands do not align with the official position of the minority caucus.

Moreover, they made it clear that Mr. Ugochinyere does not speak on behalf of the over 200 million Nigerians whom they represent.

“We, the PDP northern youth, are deeply concerned about the attempts to sow division within our party”,remarked a spokesperson for the Arewa PDP Support Groups.

“As the largest political party in Africa, we urge the Board of Trustees, PDP Caucus, and all respected Nigerians to dismiss the demands of Ugochinyere and his associates”, it added.

The coalition emphasized the importance of maintaining unity within the PDP ranks and called for support for AMB Umar Iliya Damagum to continue leading until the party is fully revitalized for the betterment of Nigeria.

This decisive action by the Arewa PDP support groups underscores their unwavering dedication to the principles of unity, integrity, and progress within the PDP and Nigeria as a whole.
