Exclusive: *After 15 Days In Unlawful Incarceration, IGP Adamu Releases Mahdi At Midnight to Avoid Embarrassment From the Court*

After receiving a High Court Order to produce the owner of Dialogue Group of Companies, Mahdi Shehu tomorrow Wednesday where he is expected to be granted unconditional bail after unlawfully detaining him for more than two weeks on the orders of Governor Aminu Bello Masari and busines mogul, Dahiru Mangal and with pressures from the presidency threatening the illegal conduct of the Police Chief, IGP Mohemmed Adamu, the IGO at midnight yesterday (Monday) ordered the immediate release of Mr Mahdi from detention.
DESERT HERALD reports that Mahdi had earlier refused to leave the police facility insisting that he will wait till Wednesday for the Court to give him the bail he requested and told the IG that whether he likes it or not he is entitled to a bail but the embattled IG whose men were accused of collecting heavy gratification from Dahiru Mangal to incarcerate Mahdi ordered that Mahdi must leave the cell midnight yesterday.
This paper gathered that when President Muhammad Buhari was fully briefed about the matter and after listening to the messages of Sheikh Ahmad Gumi on the issue he was so embarrassed and had to order his Chief of Staff to immediately intervene and ensure the strict complaince of rule of law.
Mahdi, who refused to be threaten on regaining forceful freedom organized a hour one interview few minutes ago on AIT where he lambasted the Police IGP, Governor Masari, Dahiru Mangal and one ACP Yan Leman. He further exposed the secrets behind his travails.
