Kano Governor Yusuf Celebrates Bauchi’s Bala Mohammed at 68

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on his 68th birthday, commending his decades of service to Bauchi State and Nigeria.

Governor Yusuf, in a congratulatory message issued by his Director General, Media and Publicity, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, described the occasion as an opportunity to recognise Senator Mohammed’s extensive public service career and contributions to public administration and democratic governance.

According to the statement, Governor Bala Mohammed has built a distinguished career spanning the federal civil service, journalism, legislative responsibilities and executive leadership.

Governor Yusuf recalled that Mohammed served in various capacities in the Federal Government before his election to the Senate in 2007.

He subsequently served as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory from 2010 to 2015, before being elected Governor of Bauchi State in 2019.

The Kano Governor acknowledged the experience Senator Mohammed had accumulated across different levels of public service, saying his career reflected a sustained commitment to governance and service to the people.

He wished the Bauchi Governor continued wisdom, good health and strength as he discharges his responsibilities to the people of the state.

Governor Yusuf also prayed to Allah to grant Senator Bala Mohammed many more years in good health and fulfilment, and to continue guiding him in his service to humanity and the nation.
