 LATEST: Amidst raising poverty, FG increases price of fuel to 151.56 per letre

Amidst high cost of living, raising unemployment, poverty and insecurity, the federal government through the Pipeline Product and Marketing Company, PPMC has yet again increase the price of petroleum motor spirit otherwise known as PMS to a whooping N151.56 from the current price.

This development DESERT HERALD reports is happening at a high Nigerians are having great difficulties in buying the product even at current rate. Already, prices of food stuffs have in the last four months increase buy more than 70 percent with many Nigerians surviving on hunger due to inability to each three times a day.

With the current unfortunate development of another increase without without taking into cognizance the increasing difficulties Nigerians are subjected to experts told DESERT HERALD that Nigerians should prepare for more hardship from a government that has promised so much to the poor but gave virtually nothing in return except misery, poverty, insecurity and joblessness.

With the price increase, price of commodities are expected to go high again while cost of transportation will definitely go high according to financial experts.

This unfortunate latest development is happening a day after the federal government increase the price of electricity tariffs.
